Moving Blankets Types – How to Select the Right Ones

All moving blankets are meant to protect your furniture from any harm, but there even protective blankets have types.

Protective quilts are divided into two kinds, the quilted covers and the non quilted (also known as non quilted skins). Quilted moving blankets are more recommended, they offer you more security for your furniture.

The quilted furniture pads contain more filler and therefore provide more furniture protection, they also come in high prices but it’ll be worth it knowing your furniture is being well handled and taken care of.

Non quilted sheets on the other hand, aren’t as protective because they hardly consist of any filler; they’re also a lot cheaper so people are continuously buying them. Keep in mind that they weren’t made strong enough to protect delicate things, so never cover material such as glass in these thin moving blankets.

When you’re shopping for protective quilts there are a few things you need to consider, the first is its thickness, quilted or non quilted, always aim for the thicker.

But how do you know how thick a moving blanket is? It’s all a matter of weight, the heavier, the thicker and the more protection.

Also compare prices when you’re moving from store to store, that way you can get the best for a reasonable price.

After you’ve moved to a different location you can relax and store your moving blankets away, I have to say these sheets are very convenient and can save a lot of people stress.

Everybody knows how the movers can be, handling our furnishings. They want to get the job done as soon as possible so it’s in and out of the moving truck. They won’t care to be careful.

With moving blankets being made of several layers of protective sheets you needn’t concern yourself over your furniture anymore.
